Matt’s App of the Week: Grab

May 28, 2017 Matt Heinz

This is the latest in a series of weekend posts highlighting a wide variety of applications we think are pretty cool. Most have to do with sales, marketing and productivity. Check out past featured apps here.

Dashing through the Austin airport last week, I was craving one last bit of Texas BBQ before flying home to Seattle.  Good news – there’s a Salt Lick BBQ right in the terminal.  Bad news – the line was incredibly long and moving slowly.

So I whipped out my Grab app and ordered the two-meat platter in less than two minutes.  For basically the same price, my order went to the very front of the line.  Instead of waiting 20-30 minutes, my meal was ready in five.

Grab is available at more than 15 airports across the United States with more coming online regularly.  You can search their directory for essentially any of the food establishments, place and pay for your order online, then just go pick it up.

Great way to get what you want, get it fast and get on with your flight.  Definitely worth checking out.
