Matt’s App of the Week: Mobit

If you’re not yet incorporating text messaging into your integrated B2B marketing, 2018 might be the time to start.  For a long time B2B marketers have shied away from text messaging.  It’s been assumed to be too aggressive and/or invasive, plus our typical automation/orchestration platforms do little to support workflow consistency and integration.

But the results speak for themselves.  In early B2B tests, we’re seeing appropriately placed text offers generate 3-4X greater response than similar offers made via email.  Field events, speaking engagements and other in-field situations are perfectly suited to capturing prospects interest via a mobile device quickly vs. requiring more onerous steps with high abandon rates via a full keyboard.

This past week I tested texting for lead capture at two events (Dreamforce as well as Infusionsoft’s PartnerCon) using a service from Mobit and I’m already hooked.  It’s very clear that this will be a significant way to increase lead engagement at speaking engagements, field events and more.
