Rebecca’s App of the Week: Hopper

By Rebecca Smith, Senior Marketing Consultant for Heinz Marketing

This is the latest in a series of weekend posts highlighting a wide variety of applications we think are pretty cool. Most have to do with sales, marketing and productivity. Check out past featured apps here.

For those of you always on the go, Hopper is a must-have. It is a super easy tool to find the cheapest flights and save money while booking.

Insert the dates you want to travel, the city you are headed to and watch as a cute pink bunny finds the deals for you.

What makes it cool though isn’t that the search is super easy (but yes, it really is).  It’s cool because it tells you if you should book now or wait until later. Using some special algorithm and past flight trend data, it will say “Book Now” meaning it’s the cheapest it will be so don’t miss out. Or it will say ‘Keep Watching’ and give you a time frame and the amount of money you could save if you wait. And you can book directly through the app or setup notifications to let you know the minute something changes.

If you’re always on the go, or have a trip coming up, it’s worth setting up.
