Wisdom and integrity

May 24, 2017 Matt Heinz

“Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do, integrity is doing it.”

This was one of the highlight quotes for me from the past couple days at a business retreat in Austin.  Easier said than done might be a more common way of saying the same thing, but the integrity differentiator often separates good intentions from values-based, consistent execution.

I’m proud of our values at Heinz Marketing, proud that we live them daily, proud that we celebrate them often.  On good days they’re easy to follow.  On tough days they can test our resolve, our commitment, even our integrity.

But those tests make us stronger, tighten our resolve, make future commitments and execution on integrity easier and more fulfilling.

Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do, integrity is doing it.
